Uvas Volunteer Fire Department is a non-profit organization, which primarily covers forty square miles in the East Santa Cruz Mountains. The specific area is known as Uvas Canyon, west of the town of Morgan Hill. 

We have one station. We currently have 10 members under the direction of Fire Chief, Chris Lanser.

We have two Type 3 engines, a Water Tender and a brush patrol. 

We are First Responders for Wildland Fires, Vehicle Accidents and Medical Calls. 

The UVFD has training every other weekend during the spring and summer months. During the winter months, we have training with CalFire and conduct online training.
